Refund Policy

NovelDraft offers a 15-day free trial without a payment card. The trial does not automatically charge you. Buying a lifetime license is a separate, one-time purchase.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for these purchases and handles payment collection, applicable sales taxes and approved refunds. The total payable is shown in checkout before you pay.

We encourage you to use the free trial before purchasing. NovelDraft does not offer an additional voluntary money-back guarantee after the trial. This does not limit any refund available under the Paddle Refund Policy, the Paddle Buyer Terms, or mandatory consumer law.

Where applicable, consumers may have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. Its application to digital services depends on the purchase and any valid consent given at checkout. Completing the free trial does not, by itself, waive your statutory rights. Paddle reviews refund requests under its policy and applicable law.

Request a refund through Paddle buyer support, or contact support@noveldraft.com for assistance. Include your purchase email, order or transaction ID, and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers, passwords or security codes. Contact us promptly if you believe you were charged incorrectly or the service is not working as described.

A request is not an approval. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method where supported. Processing times depend on Paddle, the payment method and your financial institution.

An approved full refund removes the paid lifetime entitlement for that purchase. Without another valid entitlement, the account becomes read-only: writing and saving are disabled, while reading and export remain available. The refund does not delete your manuscripts, notes or files in your Google Drive or Dropbox.

NovelDraft is in active development. We may update this policy as the service, payment arrangements or legal requirements change. Updates do not remove mandatory rights or retroactively reduce rights attached to an existing purchase. We update the date above when this policy changes.
